Turks & Caicos Islands Travel Safe – Helpful Links

The TCI Assured Program is a Pre-Travel Authorization Program

All travelers to the Turks and Caicos Islands are required to visit the TCI Assured Travel Authorization Portal in order to obtain a travel authorization for arrival in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Once a passenger registers at the Authorization Portal and completes the registration process as outlined, a travel authorization notification will be given. Airlines will not be able to board passengers without this authorization.

The travel authorization form should be presented at the time of check-in to the appropriate airline so please print all documents to have on hand at the airport. Persons without an authorization slip either physical or e-copy will not be able to travel to the islands.

We look forward to welcoming you to our ‘Beautiful by Nature’ Turks and Caicos Islands.

The Turks & Caicos Islands Government has announced the first phase of a gradual re-opening of our islands after a 37 day shelter-in-place order.

Starting May 4th, our beaches will reopen with strict social distancing in place as will hardware stores. We will be able to move about with social distancing but we are encouraged to #stayhome if traveling on the roadways is non-essential.

Starting May 11th, retail stores, restaurants for takeaway meals, key government offices, and construction – to name a few – will be permitted to open with strict adherence to social distancing and health guidelines.

International travel will remain closed until, at least, June 1st. In the meantime, Government Ministers will be establishing a stakeholder engagement group with the hospitality sector, guided by Heath, to support and inform the work that will be required to start to reopen the islands to international tourism.
